About Us

Pacesetters was formed in 1984 after the first Kuala Lumpur International Marathon, with its main objective of promoting running as one of the healthy forms of exercise.

At the club formation on 20 May 1984

Initially, we concentrated on distance running, in particular the half marathon and marathon. The club is based in Kuala Lumpur, with KL / Klang Valley Area Groups in:
·         Sri Hartamas
·         Taman Tasik Permaisuri
·         Planetarium Negara
·         Kuantan

We now position ourselves as a recreational running group, promoting running as a sustainable healthy recreational activity at the grass root level. We also help beginners to get start by running with them.

    1. Hi Clare,

The information on Regular Activities is quite current, in particular, the Planetarium and Sri Hartamas groups on Saturdays and Sundays respectively. Running speeds vary from 6.5 to 7.5 minutes per km.

Do feel free to contact the leaders of those groups
